【N.HOOLYWOOD TEST PRODUCT EXCHANGE SERVICE SPRING2023】

This morning, I had the chance to attend the virtual showing of N.Hoolywood Test Exchange Service Spring 2023. Take a look at the images from the virtual show and collection.

Focusing on military-inspired items, "TEST PRODUCT EXCHANGE SERVICE” is reinterpreted for town use. The EXCHANGE SERVICE is a chain of cooperative stores for US military personnel to purchase their daily goods. With the aim to create products that may be picked up by the EXCHANGE SERVICE, this line will be developed as an authentic military collection, collaborating with brands that are officially acknowledged by the military.

This season, regardless of land, sea, or air, the collection of utility wear for special work brings new takes to town wear that is not related to combat. Inspired by the unique and inexplicable details that make utility wear functional like complicated zippers hiding compartments, randomly placed pockets and ruching details, Daisuke adapts and updates the design details across outwear, accessories and ready-to-wear. Mil-spec labels, which typically provide details on how to use these items, are sewn to the outside of the garments and exposed on sleeves, the fronts of shirts and bags. Classic military colors like tan, green and black repeat across a series of utility basics, with each piece giving a new life to what an average viewer might see. Collaborations with @aroma, CONVERSE, HIPPOPOTAMUS, Curious Curio, YOSHIDA & CO .,LTD give credibility to the functionality seen throughout.
