Sunday's Message: It's Okay To Be Selfish!

They tell you to always help others, be kind to others, and love all. However, have you ever been so exhausted with life that you didn't have the ability to help anyone? Or have you ever been so dry that you have not been able to pour into someone else? You become extremely aggy, snappy, and just plain tired. Well, listening to the priest talk today, he stated it is ok to take care of yourself before taking care of someone else. How do you expect to help someone else if you are unable to help yourself? They tell you on a plane emergency demonstration to put on your oxygen mask first before helping another with theirs. How do you expect to save a life if your life is ending? The greatest love is self-love. You have to love yourself so you can love someone entirely. That is genuine love!
