Martine Rose is at it again! The London-based designer has teamed up with Clarks for their third collaboration, and let’s just say—it’s every bit as stylish and unconventional as you’d expect.

Clarks, the footwear brand many of us remember from childhood shoe fittings, has been making a major comeback in the fashion world. Thanks to clever partnerships like this one, the brand is proving that it’s far from just a high-street staple—it’s now a high-fashion must-have. And what better way to celebrate 200 years of Clarks than with Martine Rose’s signature mix of artistic rebellion and subversive street style?

The latest collection, titled Coming Up Roses, reimagines three Clarks classics with an edgy, modern twist. Each piece features a glossy croc-effect finish, giving them that effortlessly cool, luxe vibe.

Here’s what’s in the collection:

  • Torview Loafer (£160): A platform loafer with serious 1950s Creeper energy, available in sleek black and burgundy. Perfect for adding a little rockabilly edge to your wardrobe.

  • Square-Toe Block Heels (£250): Featuring an exposed seam that gives off a raw, unfinished look—think deconstructed denim but make it shoes. Classic with a rebellious streak.

  • Derby (£260): A modern take on the timeless men’s dress shoe, crafted in black and tan crocodile-embossed leather. The exposed seam detail makes it feel like a true statement piece.

Unlike the previous two collections, which leaned into padded leathers and playful silhouettes, this third drop has a more uniform, structured feel. It’s a little less experimental but no less exciting. The collab first launched in early 2024, followed by a second release in October, and now this latest edition cements the partnership as one of the coolest ongoing collaborations in footwear.

If you missed the last collections, you might still be able to snag a few pieces from Selfridges or Farfetch. But if you want to get your hands on Coming Up Roses, don’t wait—this collection is available now at Clarks and select retailers.

What do you think of the new designs? Are you loving the croc-effect or still obsessed with the earlier drops? Let’s chat in the comments!
