Shanquella Robinson’s Mother Reveals How She Found Out A Fight Occurred During The Trip

Shanquella Robinson’s mother is speaking out about her daughters death in a new interview with ABC news. During the interview Salamondra Robinson reflects on the moments when she found out her daughter died while on vacation with her friends in Mexico.

Salamondra says she got a disturbing call from someone and she didn’t even know who it was, but the person told her that her friends were fighting her on the trip and hung up the phone. “I got a call that they were over there fighting that girl and that’s the way they left it just like that.” She said

Later after receiving that disturbing call, Salamondra says she confronted the so called “friends” about the call she received when they visited her at her Charlotte home. “They was crying and said they never had a fight they even sat there and said what they were picking out to wear to the funeral.” She added.

As we previously reported, a began video circulating online in recent weeks appears to show a physical altercation inside a room between Robinson and another person. Her father, Bernard Robinson, also did a recent interview where he said his daughter is seen in that video being thrown to the floor and beaten on the head. It’s not clear when the video was taken or if it depicts the moment Robinson suffered the injury that led to her death.

Shanquella’s sister, Quilla Long, also discussed what justice would look like for her family. “Everybody being arrested and doing time ,”Long said in an article published by local news station WCNC yesterday (Dec. 7). Last week, Shanquella’s father, Bernard Robinson, told the outlet, “She had her whole life ahead of her, she didn’t deserve this.”He added, “I’m not going to let her die in vain.”
