SIMON FASHION NOW® RETURNS TO THE WESTCHESTER

Simon Fashion Now returns to Westchester on April 12-13, 2013 at The Westchester Mall (125 Westchester Ave White Plains, NY 10601). This event is a series of energetic fashion shows and interactive entertainment. Spotlighting up-to-the-minute looks for spring from more than 40 fashionable retailers at The Westchester, by interpreting the season’s trends and creating hundreds of accessible looks on the runway that are available for purchase that same day from their retailers.

Time:5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
An evening of fashion, wine tasting and light bites with participating retailers, including Anthropologie, Anne Fontaine, Crabtree & Evelyn, J. Jill, Urban Outfitters, and others will offer exclusive deals, sampling, demonstrations and consultations. Trends & Friends Night will also feature tasty samplings from the likes of Au Bon Pain, Godiva Chocolatier, P. F. Chang’s, Sofrito White Plains, Westchester Wine Warehouse and others.
The evening’s runway fashion shows begin at 6:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. and will feature looks from more than a dozen of The Westchester’s finest retailers, including C. Wonder, LOFT, Anthropologie, Juicy Couture, True Religion Brand Jeans, bebe, HUGO BOSS Store, and Brooks Brothers.
At 7 p.m., shoppers won’t want to miss out on an interactive styling competition. Audience participants will compete for a chance to win the season’s hottest accessory – an American Express® Simon Giftcard®.
The first 150 guests to register with simon.com on site at The Westchester each day – a total of 300 visitors – will receive an exclusive Simon Fashion Now swag bag (while supplies last) full of great gifts.

An interactive fashion competition featuring student designers from SUNY Westchester Community College and Westchester Fashion Academy for Children, with high school seniors involved in the Her Honor Mentoring Program serving as models. The student designers and models will showcase couture looks on the runway made from dresses and gowns donated by Operation PROM that will be refurbished and ultimately worn by the student models at their high school proms later this spring. Competitors will vie for top runway honors in this inspired version of runway reality.
High-energy runway fashion shows will take the stage at 1 p.m., 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. The shows will introduce spring looks from Nordstrom, Ann Taylor, Brighton Collectibles, Chico’s, dELiA*s, Eileen Fisher, GAP/Baby GAP, Lilly Pulitzer, The North Face, and more. At 1:30 p.m., attendees can view the latest footwear styles during a special shoe trend show featuring Aldo Shoes, Nine West and Sperry Top-Sider. At 2:30 p.m., returns to the stage, and audience participants will compete for a chance to win an American Express® Simon Giftcard®.
In addition to the runway shows and styling features, shoppers can visit , where advice and insight into the season’s trends will be offered in an interactive format. Starting at 12 p.m., participants can indulge in complimentary Style Stops from Rebecca Taylor, Sephora, Tranquility Spa, Williams-Sonoma and more. Every hour between 12 noon to 3 p.m. guests can register to win fabulous prizes from the mall’s premier retailers during the .
