The president and CEO of the W.K. Kellogg Foundation—the first woman and first African American to hold the position—oversees one of the nation’s largest foundations, with $8.2 billion in assets. The organization’s mission to improve the well-being of children has led to recent investments in schools in Battle Creek and Detroit, Michigan. The foundation also has a Truth, Racial Healing, and Transformation initiative that’s addressing the effects of racism and advancing racial equity.
