When God Interrupts your program.

When God Interrupts your program. (Matthew 1:18-25)

How many people have something planned out and all things fall through and nothing goes according to plan? Despite our faithful walk with the Lord, when things happen in your life that is out of your control, defames your name/being, or unpredictable human actions; we often lean towards the side of unrighteousness because we are unsettled with the fact that we have been spiritually faithful, kind and obedient but God wants to interrupt your plans.

The interruptions of your plan is God testing our hearts by throwing the fire of life in our path. What many do not understand, according to Oswald Chambers, when you surrender your life to the Lord and decide to move on faith, we are also surrendering our choices to be controlled by God. His will on our life has a greater meaning and results far better than we ever could’ve planned. We have to continue to move in righteousnesses and not allow our current circumstances to define who we are or will be. Allow the interruption of God to take place and allow his will to be done. We all know, once his will is done, what is for us no one can and will ever take it away.

When God Interrupts Your Program:

3. Are you obeying? Are you stepping out on faith a en being obedient to what God is calling us to do?

1. Are you listening? The world is noisy, can you hear him?

2. Are you distinguishing? Are you sure it’s God’s voice that you hear?

Why we hesitate to obey:

1. It sounds crazy! What is God asking me to do?

2. It’s scary! Fear! What’s going to happen? What are others going to say about me?

3. It’s costly! I have no money. I’m losing friends, family, etc…

Once you say yes to God, things will change. Everything will be uncomfortable when you are obedient. Question is; which path will you follow? Your plans or God’s will. Which will yield higher results? That’s up to you, but I’m following God and let him take the wheel. He always got my back when everyone and everything is gone. He still remains.
