Where to Stay in Cap Haïtien

We stayed at Hotel Imperial, located quite close to the historical quarters. We would have loved to stay within the old centre but there weren’t any nice hotels available. You won’t find a lot of accommodation choices in Cap Haitien, and most of the nicer accommodations are located well outside the city. Hotel Imperial is rather expensive for what it is — but it’s pretty comfortable and the location isn’t too bad. It even has a swimming pool and restaurant. Don’t expect the staff to speak English though — try to bring a French dictionary along, you’ll need it in Cap Haitien!
