In this factory in Port-au-Prince, workers are making the first wholly Haitian digital tablet. Manufacturer Sûrtab is one of the few companies to fully exploit the skills and motivation of local workers, and salaries here are three times higher than normal. Demand for the tablet is rising, especially from African countries.
